DESCRIPTION:The Wasatch Front North JACL will be hosting the 2025 Day of Remembrance\, commemorating the 83rd Anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 19\, 1942\, and will be marked with a series of inspiring events. When: February 15\, 2025\, from 11:00AM-2:00PM. Where: Brigham Academy Center\, 58 N. Main St.\, Brigham City\, Utah We are honored to hear from our distinguished guest speakers: -William A. Harris\, Director of the FDR Presidential Library and Museum -Jani Iwamoto\, Honorary Consul of Japan in Salt Lake City Following the program\, we will transition to the Brigham City Community Center\, 24 North 300 West\, Brigham City\, Utah\, for lunch\, sponsored by the WFN JACL\, before heading to the unveiling of the museum's new special exhibition Uncovering the Journey: Japanese American Pioneers in Box Elder County in the museum downstairs.
