Following this will be an unveiling of a 24' tall modern sculpture entitled "Monument to their Memory" created by Ilan Averbuch to commemorate those who toiled to build the nation's first transcontinental railroad\, a traditional Chinese Lion Dance blessing performance by Jung Hing Lion Dance Club\, and remarks by officials from the Golden Spike Foundation\, National Park Service and Utah Department of Cultural & Community Engagement. The event is free.
