Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge 95th Birthday

Come and celebrate Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge's B-Earth-Day on Saturday, April 22nd!  (Aka the Refuge's 95th birthday + Earth Day ).

We will be opening the D-Line gate (onto the southernmost road on the Refuge) for our 3rd Behind the Gates Day!

The D-Line gate will be open from 9 am to 1 pm (if you are starting the Auto Tour at 1 pm you will NOT make it to the D-Line in time). You must drive around 3/4 of the Auto Tour to get to the gate. Please allow 3-4 hours to complete the 23-mile drive (9-miles on the Auto Tour, 14-miles on the D-line). Restrooms will not be available once you start the Auto Tour or on the D-Line.

If you are a little short on time, stop by the Wildlife Education Center! Cake will be given out to the first 95 people after 11:00 am! We will have scavenger hunts and you can become a Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge Junior Ranger!
