In the spirit of Continuing the Journey, the Brigham City Museum staff will be leading a trip to the Minidoka National Historic Site in Jerome County, Idaho on April 18th, 2026. Although little remains of the barbed-wire fences and tar-papered barracks, the Minidoka concentration camp once held over 13,000 Japanese Americans in the Idaho desert. We will be carpooling to the site. When registering, please make sure to fill out how you are planning to travel to the site. If you need a ride, make sure to mark that on the form so that we can arrange a ride for you. It is a 2-2.5 hour drive to the site. This is a FREE program, however, in order to participate in the tour and gain access to the visitor center, you must register below! https://museum.bcutah.gov/event/field-trip-to-minidoka-national-historic-site/
