Stepping On - Free Workshop On Fall Prevention
Are you at risk for a fall? Age, changes in health, and some medication can cause falls. However, most falls can be prevented. ?Stepping On? is a FREE, 7-week workshop that helps you learn how to prevent falls in your everyday life. Workshop Classes Cover: Coping after a fall Identifying home hazards Safe footwear instruction Exercise with a Physical Therapist Vision and falls with an Optometrist Medication review with Pharmacist Program Benefits: 31% reduction in falls among participants Decreased fear of falling Increased performance of safe behaviors Every Thursday starting April 9th to May 21st Questions?
