Winter Steam Festival at Golden Spike National Historical Park
Golden Spike National Historical Park invites the public to this year’s Winter Steam Festival on December 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th to watch as the power of steam brings the past into the present. This year, the Central Pacific Locomotive Jupiter will take center stage during this year’s steam demonstrations. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to see, hear, and feel the power of this Victorian-era replica locomotive as it travels along the historic Transcontinental Railroad grade. Step back in time and experience the sights and sounds of an era that transformed the nation. The Winter Steam Festival is a time to reflect on how our shared history brought people and places closer together. During the holiday season—both then and now—families came together, sometimes overcoming incredible distances. Join us at Golden Spike to celebrate this connection and create new memories to share with future generations. Daily Festival Locomotive Steam Demonstrations: 10:00 a.m.?
